hi..I am a beginner of learning Revit..And I have an assignment from uni that is yet to be handed in.. I have some questions here…
You know how we draw grid lines before starting to draw the columns and beams..I drew the grid lines in the Site Services Plan but the grid lines are not visible in Basement Plan..So, do I need to redraw that or is there any shortcut??
Please reply ASAP..
Thank you so much!!!
Hi, I’m having a bit of a problem with a spiral stairs I wan to make. I’m a beginner in revit so I don’t know that much. I wish you could tell me how can I make one…it would be very helpful!!! Please!

hi dave,
your tutorials are indeed helpful.i wonder if you could add other scales on the scale list located at the lower right of the revit interface. i want to have other scales like 1:25, 1:75, 1:15 etc. Is that possible with revit??
I’m having difficulty showing wood floors on my model. When prompted to select material after selecting the element, I’ll choose the wood floor png of choice but when it renders it looks like a flat dark color that resembles glass with a beaded texture. Does this sound familiar? I’m sure the fix is probably simple but I’ve been at it for 4 days and I’m still scratchin the noggin. Please advise!
@DARKI
you can customize the scale by opening up the “pull-up” menu and going to custom.
@LEE3
Floors are system families and are managed through their assembly editor. this is where you should add a layer for wood floors, and add the material you want for it.
